IT Business Systems Analyst

Position Specific Description

This is a high visibility role that involves directly working with our business partners. To be successful in this role, you will need strong analytical skills paired with excellent communication and customer service. You will be expected to juggle competing priorities as you are involved in projects at different points of maturity and implementation while maintaining a high attention to detail. The right candidate should take pride in their work and have the aptitude to learn and apply new concepts.


As a Business Process Analyst you will document and keep up to date all the business processes in the Customer Care and Revenue Management Department. You will participate in meetings, take notes and follow up with action items, you will assist with the automated system management. Finally, you will be part of a great team and will have the opportunity to get involved in larger projects.


Essential duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Document business process and requirements for upcoming projects, enhancements, software elevations. This includes features and subsequent phased features to help in the prioritization of enhancements.
  • Maintain documentation and keep it up to date. Partner with our change management team to validate proper use and alignment with system standards.
  • Participate in UAT as requested and manage list of issues organized and share with the team. Assist in prioritization of break/fix items.
  • Participate in meetings, document and distribute meeting minutes and action items and follow up with such.
  • Update project plans and milestones as needed and follow up on milestones and critical path items
  • Manage the contract process collaborating with other departments in the company and track all invoices and ensure their processing accurately, including reconciling expenses with budget and contractual terms.
  • Create presentations and document product features
  • Interact with vendors as appropriate
  • Participate in brainstorming discussions
  • Design, implement, configure, test, and support multi-channel (chat, inbound/outbound calls, work items) communications.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 1 years related experience with current systems, project management, communicating with leaders
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to deal with a diverse range of people
  • Self- sufficient, detailed oriented
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft suite of office
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of software principles and concepts.
  • Strong customer service and technical support skills, coupled with problem-solving, trouble shooting skills, analytical and decision-making ability.
