International Tax Manager

San Francisco, CA

DocuSign is looking for an experienced and motivated international tax manager to manage and help build its foreign international tax compliance, transfer pricing, and provision functions. This individual will also work closely with the Senior International Tax Manager in helping to analyze and execute global tax planning strategies, foreign acquisition tax accounting and integration, and review and prepare intercompany agreements and tax clauses.


This position is an individual contributor reporting to the Senior International Tax Manager and is designated Flex.


Responsibilities

  • Work with cross functional teams and outside consultants to prepare and/ review foreign statutory financials and foreign tax returns
  • Prepare and/ review the US international tax compliance including the foreign tax credit calculation (Form 1118), foreign affiliate information returns (Forms 5471), foreign disregarded entity returns (Forms 8858), country by country report (Form 8975), and other U.S. international returns and calculations
  • Review and/or prepare U.S. international tax provisions for foreign entities
  • Manage global transfer pricing reports, CBC notifications, and review of intercompany calculations
  • Work closely with Treasury in managing cash globally


Basic qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, with emphasis in accounting or finance
  • Minimum of 8 years of corporate tax experience, including 4-6 years of recent international tax experience
  • Public company multi-national corporation experience and/ or public accounting firm experience (i.e., Big 4)
  • Experience with corporate tax provision
  • Advanced Excel skills


Preferred qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Tax or Accounting and/or CPA
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Highly effective communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently while successfully delivering results
  • Acts with a sense of urgency
  • Demonstrates accountability and ownership of his/her work
