Our North America (NAM) Internship Program offers:

As an intern under our Senior Manager of Import/Export Logistics & Compliance for North America you will gain exposure to the flow of products being moved in and our of various countries. You will participate in the monitoring and analysis of import/export data.

 

What You Will Do:

  • Work on assigned country responsibility pertaining to import/export transactions.
  • Testing new enhancements to processes and procedures.
  • Grow knowledge of standard operating procedures for shipments into and out of the country.
  • Attend weekly freight forwarder meetings to understand key discussion points and build working relationships.
  • Process invoices and spot audit freight costs to capture discrepancies and understand associated fees related to ocean shipments.
  • Present challenges to team in Level Up meetings to brainstorm and partner with the team to work through resolution findings.
  • Extract data for tracking purposes or document retention and/or freight data from freight forwarders portals.
  • Participate in self-audit objectives to build compliance knowledge and understand import entry elements.
  • Support TYK sheets by providing suggestions for questions based on hands on exposure.

 

What We Are Looking For In You:

  • Minimum of 2 years of undergraduate experience
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or related field 
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Advanced in Microsoft Office software programs 
  • Effective time management skills 
  • Excellent teamwork and team building skills 
  • Ability to demonstrate leadership and accountability 
  • Interest in Supply Chain, Business Management, Technology, or Engineering
