Internal Communications Specialist

This specialist position executes strategic internal business communications for the Mars Wrigley U.S. business in line with our Five Principles and Purpose. The need for this role is critical to the Internal Communication function as the position supports creating and maintain every channel of communication to ensure consistency in reaching Associates. Providing Associates with clear and consistent messages is an important part of creating engaged Associates who deliver business results. This position is a core member of the Internal Communications team and actively partners with the broader P&O (HR) team, OneMars, and Corporate Affairs teams.

What are we looking for?

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Communications or related field or equivalent experience

What will be your key responsibilities?

Partners with the Director of Internal Communications Managers on key moments of communication; including Town Halls, Webcasts, Period Reviews, Roundtables, Leadership Forums and Summits, etc.
In collaboration with external communications and media relations, ensure that the company’s messages and communications are consistent and timely for all key audiences.
Brings a mixternal approach for communication channels—from internal enewsletters to LinkedIn blog posts.
Build tools and refreshes communications tools, forums and channels to accommodate organizational needs.
Develop internal communications strategies that drive continuous improvement within the company culture.
Fosters Associate understanding of company vision and corporate objectives using the Five Principles and our Purpose.
Continuous story mining (Associate moments, milestones, anniversaries) and tailor channels/communications to all audiences (office, factory, sales, etc.).
