Internal Auditor

Clearwater, FL

The Internal Auditor is a highly visible audit role working directly with different departments and management within the Company along with franchisees. As the Internal Auditor, you will develop, prioritize, and perform audits to evaluate compliance with store policies and procedures, within both company-owned and independently-owned franchisees.


Responsibilities:

  • Maintain store audit procedures to assure accuracy of store reports
  • Identify the financial risk of the organization and offer recommendations to reduce risk
  • Ability to work autonomously through scheduling, planning, and executing retail store audits
  • Assess the efficiency and productivity of store business procedures and make recommendations for improvement
  • Review and assess store financial documentation and internal controls
  • Present findings to upper management in the form of reports and presentations
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Candidate Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Financing, or Business Administration
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and ethics.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Understand technical accounting and auditing concepts and methodologies
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
  • Travel (40-60%) throughout FL, along with travel to the states of TX, LA, AL, and GA
