Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry.This segment is classified into two main product groupings – carrier network and enterprise network.


The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use.

 

Key Responsibilities

Act as a full member of the Regional Marketing team, with responsibilities that may include:  

  • Advertising development  
  • New product introductions and rollouts  
  • Competitive analysis and market research  
  • Regional marketing strategy and execution for specific applications  
  • Sales promotions and events  
  • Customer-facing digital media and Google Analytics  
  • Creating collateral materials for both internal and external use  
  • Providing support in field marketing, trade shows, or channel marketing programs  
  • Support the direct project manager with strategic project work as needed.  
  • Collaborate with key leaders across all functions.  
  • Assist with various events and marketing activities.  
  • Manage projects using the Workfront platform.  Work on a cross-functional intern team to prepare an end-of-summer presentation.  

 

Experiences/Education - Required

Qualifications:  

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business/International Business, or a related field  
  • Excellent academic standing with a strong grasp of business fundamentals  
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to drive change.  
  • Strategic understanding of marketing and communication principles  
  • Must be enrolled in in a reputable educational institution.

​The range for this position is $1,635.00 - $3,185.00 biweekly. Starting pay for the successful applicant is prescribed based on geographic location, nature of position, and year in school.
