Integrated Marketing Intern

We are looking for passionate, motivated Integrated Marketing Interns to join the team! Minute Media’s Internship Program is intended to provide current college students with real work experience in integrated marketing within the sports and entertainment digital media space. Interns will get the opportunity to work alongside industry professionals in their day-to-day projects and responsibilities. 


By the end of the program, Interns should have a solid understanding of the digital media landscape, specifically related to integrated marketing. Additionally, Interns will have gained a network of industry professionals to aid in their career journey. 


**This is an unpaid internship that will last three months with an expectation to work 15 hours per week and is designed to give young professionals an educational experience in the industry


What You’ll Do

  • Program Dates: June - August
  • Observe and interact with top brand partners looking to harness the power of Minute Media to enhance their brands and create meaningful campaigns that resonate with consumers
  • Development of pre-sale proposals and pitches to top brand partners
  • Creation of first-to-market ideas for our sales team to use in market
  • Talent research and assistance in making athlete recommendations in proposals
  • Support of the media planning team in the development of media plans, both reactive and proactive
  • Assistance with research projects around the Minute Media audience
  • Opportunity to shadow a marketer as they pitch new ideas to clients
  • Meet and greets with key teams and team members across the broader organization
  • Market research on new platforms/opportunities to resonate with younger, Gen Z consumers


REQUIREMENTS

What You Have

  • Must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program during the semester of the internship 
  • Availability to work 15 hours/week
  • Interest in sports and/or entertainment
  • Knowledge of popular sports leagues (MLB, NFL, NBA, NCAA) or entertainment (TV, movies, pop culture)
  • Interest in brands, advertising, and marketing
  • Comfortability communicating in group settings
  • Willingness to initiate lead conversations with employees across the company
