As an intern at Intel, you'll apply the knowledge acquired from your education to a hands-on role within our IT operations and development sectors. You'll learn and grow your expertise in a range of IT technical skills, with the opportunity to specialize in areas such as Data Center Engineering, Database Management, Enterprise Application Support, Information Security, IT Infrastructure & Systems Administration, Network Engineering, and Technical Support.


Your responsibilities will include developing, maintaining, and optimizing both in-house and third-party software and hardware solutions, as well as harnessing cloud and digital innovations to enhance Intel's business processes. Additionally, you'll play a key role in boosting internal productivity by troubleshooting issues, and identifying and enacting process improvements in system administration. Qualifications

This is an entry-level position and will be compensated accordingly. You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Experience would be obtained through a combination of prior education level classes, and current level school classes, projects, research, and relevant previous job and/or internship experience.


Education: Candidate must be enrolled/pursuing a Master's degree OR Ph.D in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, or related STEM field with 3+ months of educational or industry experience.


Additional Information:

This application is for Spring 2025 and Summer 2025 internships. You must be available to start work during this time frame.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, California: $63,000.00-$166,000.00


Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience


Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. 


In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
