What You'll Do

  • Assist HR Manager in facilitating a seamless new hire onboarding experience including pre-employment and orientation activities
  • Identify and communicate general issues and concerns to the HR Manager and participate in development of the proper response to such issues
  • Understand and educate employees on CMC benefits, including support of the new hire and annual enrollment process
  • Develop and manage relationships with local schools and communities to identify opportunities to participate in job fairs, career days, etc.
  • Partner with Leave of Absence team to ensure compliance with ADA and FMLA; communicate with employees regarding leaves of absence
  • Responsible for day-to-day transactions such as processing employee data changes
  • Assist with scheduling full-time interviews and sourcing candidates for hard to fill positions
  • Assist with plant wide communication through Microsoft Outlook and formatting Power Point slides
  • Assist in planning company events and community involvement opportunities
  • Other duties as assigned


What You'll Need

  • High integrity and confidentiality required
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Power Point and Excel
  • Professional communication skills required, both written and verbal
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
  • Responsive nature with strong sense of urgency to handle matters quickly
  • Use independent judgment and discretion in prioritizing and managing situations


Your Education

  • Bachelor's degree required
