Human Resources Assistant

New York, NY

This position performs a variety of administrative, technical, and project-based work supporting the HR Department's initiatives and operations. This is a perfect opportunity for an organized, receptive, and eager individual who wants to grow and learn about all HR functions while working in a supportive, cohesive, driven, and friendly environment.


Major Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for monitoring and promptly responding to all inquiries from the HR inbox. Interact with employees at all levels and ensure that professional and confidentiality standards are kept.
  • Maintain, generate, and file various employee records and other items such as employee ID cards, HR bulletin updates, birthday & recognition flyers, letters, unemployment claims, employment verifications, visa letters, etc.
  • Support with calendar management by scheduling onboarding meetings, exit interviews, lunch'n'learns, trainings, etc.
  • Create internal communications and presentations in Canva/Powerpoint.
  • Assist and coordinate with multiple HR events including but not limited to Health and Wellness events, Internships, Holidays, CSR, and others.
  • Run and analyze reports to develop various HR metrics. Gather data for internal HR audits.
  • Restock and order office supplies.
  • Special Projects and other duties as assigned.

Education, Licenses, Certificates, Registrations and/or Experience:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent
  • 1 year experience in HR administration
  • Proficiency with MS Office


Language Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills
