What you will do
The HRIS Analyst is an integral partner with the HR Services Team providing system support, maintenance, analysis, and leveraging technology solutions for human resource administration across multiple HR Services system platforms. This position supports varied integration analysis, system configuration and administration, application upgrades, testing, and other technical projects. This role also assists in resolving HR issues with system improvements. The Analyst serves as a point of contact providing exceptional customer service for assigned functional systems and provides backup support to other team members.
Production Support and Administration
- Assist in managing user access including security and permissions.
- Provide support for the HR Services team including, but not limited to, researching time and attendance/benefits challenges, unexpected results, or process flaws; perform scheduled activities; recommend solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements.
- Assist in monitoring data integrity supporting custom interfaces between internal and external systems
- Process deduction changes through data imports, validation, and manual correction.
- Ensure timely and accurate funding of 401(k) plan contributions.
- Assist in Benefits system administration, coordinating and configuring open enrollment sessions, deduction codes, and audits.
- Analyze and manage the eligibility, claims, and administration fee payments for benefit-related vendors, including consolidated billing.
Project/Process Improvement
- Participate in maintenance, configuration, development, and deployment of HR Services systems to include testing, training, and supporting upgrades and enhancements from vendors
- Assist in the coordination with HR and other internal systems to maintain effective and efficient workflow procedures and communication of enhancements, upgrades, or fixes
- Recommend process/customer service improvements and solutions in support of HR processes/policies.
Data Analytics and Reporting
- Utilize reporting tools organic to systems to support analysis and audits fundamental for maintaining healthy processes.
- Assist in standard report requirements gathering for ongoing customer support needs.
Training
- Assist in the maintenance of end-user training artifacts and tools to support organization adoption and efficient use of HR Services systems aligned with internal audit controls and data integrity.
- Participate in monitoring of system enhancements, upgrades, new processes, or functionality; analyze for impact; assist in communicating and participate in training development on new processes/functionality.
- Assist new system users

What you will need
To be successful in this position, we are looking for candidates with the following:
- Bachelor’s Degree in human resources, business administration, information technology, or related field (preferred) or equivalent experience in a similar field
- Some knowledge of Human Resources and Benefits practices, principles, and regulations (preferred)
- Knowledge of HRIS, timekeeping, payroll, accounting, and statistics preferred
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is required.
- Effective organizational, interpersonal, and written and verbal communication skills are required.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or within a cross-functional team in a fast-paced, and ever-changing environment.
- Must have the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Ability to read and interpret written documentation.
- Some mental, visual, and physical fatigue from computer terminal use.
- Primarily Office Environment.
- Occasional Travel for training or development purposes, less than 10%.
