HR Coordinator

Oklahoma City, OK

Working under direct supervision, is responsible for completing routine talent acquisition tasks in collaboration with senior talent acquisition professionals, university relations lead, other HR departments, and hiring managers.


The role involves posting job openings, sourcing candidates through various channels, scheduling and coordinating interviews, and supporting the onboarding process.


The role ensures a positive candidate experience by maintaining communication, coordinating interview schedules, and completing routine talent acquisition tasks.


The role also develops business and talent acquisition knowledge, identifies, and solves routine problems, and demonstrates understanding in the discipline.

 

Description:    

  • Collaborates with senior talent acquisition professionals, university relations lead, other HR departments, and hiring managers to complete routine talent acquisition tasks, leveraging the organization’s Applicant Tracking System for timely sourcing, screening, and selection.
  • Creates and posts job openings on various job boards and/or the organization's career website which may include job descriptions, formatting postings, and ensuring compliance with organizational policies and applicable laws, while also assisting senior talent acquisition professional and university relations lead in coordination of diversity recruitment strategies and participating in applicable national and industry and campus recruiting conferences/fairs.
  • Schedules and coordinates interviews between candidates and hiring managers, including arranging interview logistics, sending interview confirmations, and coordinating travel arrangements, if applicable. 
  • Supports the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing and sending offer letters, conducting pre-employment screenings, coordinating background checks, ensuring completion of new hire paperwork and first day orientation. 
  • Provides a positive and professional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process by maintaining regular communication with candidates, responding to candidate inquiries, and providing timely updates on the status of their applications; as well as facilitate other HR administrative functions needed to support Talent Acquisition.
  • Coordinates interview schedules using the information provided by recruiters and gathers applicant and interviewers’ availability through email/phone/calendar interactions with all parties including the enterprise administrative support team.
  • Develops basic business and talent acquisition knowledge, accesses relevant data services, and gains awareness of industry practices, fostering effective working relationships and learning from subject matter experts.


Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or any other related discipline and/or commensurate work experience is required.

 

Experience: 

3+ years of relevant experience, preferably in Human Resources specializing in areas such as Talent Acquisition, Employer Branding, or a related field. Experience in an administrative/coordinator role support complex operations and multiple priorities preffered. 


Certifications:

Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and/or other related HR related certification (preferred).
