HR Coordinator

Norwalk, CT

The Human Resources team is focused on delivering a positive employee experience at Booking Holdings (BHI). As part of the Talent Team, the HR Coordinator will play a key role throughout the employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding. Key responsibilities will include leading our HRIS (Workday) entry and maintenance, supporting our Talent team with recruitment, onboarding new hires to ensure a seamless transition to BHI, and interacting with employees on a daily basis on various employee requests and needs.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Seamless support to employees throughout the employee lifecycle from onboarding, transfers, performance, and offboarding 
  • Ensure all employee status changes are effortlessly managed in Workday, including posting roles, hiring, data changes, transfers, promotions, and terminations
  • Manage the performance review cycle within Workday through the goal setting and Year-End processes
  • Provide excellent customer service to employees on a daily basis for ad hoc HR requests and questions, partnering closely with the rest of the Talent team to manage day-to-day HR administration when necessary
  • Ensure a memorable and positive onboarding process for all new hires, including reference checks, offer letter and background check administration, new hire orientation, I-9 verifications, and more
  • Lead our “Culture Committee” through event planning, ordering/maintaining SWAG, and more
  • Ad hoc projects and reporting and analysis, proactively identifying areas for process improvement


Qualifications

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or equivalent work experience
  • 1-2 years of HR or other administrative experience
  • Excellent customer service – internal and external
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Prior experience with HRIS or ATS systems 
  • 1+ years of experience working with Workday preferred, but not required
