HR Compensation Manager

What will you be responsible for?

In this role you will provide internal compensation consulting to leaders to support the attraction, retention and motivation of talent in a robust culture. This position will also be responsible for building relationships with HR partners in the region in resolving total reward issues.


Your role will consist of

Here is a snapshot of what your day to day will look like:

  • Lead the development, implementation, and administration of global compensation programs, policies, and procedures
  • Key player in company annual rewards and recognition cycle (merit, promotions, short- and long-term incentives)
  • Ensure that base pay, incentive pay and performance management programs remain competitive and aligned with compensation strategy
  • Conduct and participate in salary surveys and market analysis in multiple countries and jurisdictions
  • Research trends and practices in the industry and more broadly to advise design and execution of program
  • Analyze compensation policies, government regulations, and prevailing wage rates to ensure ongoing compliance globally
  • Prepare compensation reports/queries as needed and ensures integrity of data and reporting methodologies
  • Work cross-functionally to craft and implement creative solutions to various compensation-related issues
  • Maintain pay grades, leveling guides, and compensation guidelines across the global organization
  • Partner with Human Resources and functional managers to develop detailed job descriptions and classifications systems to ensure consistency and compliance with employment laws
  • Additional duties as assigned

You Training, Skills & Experience

Here is what we would need to see from you!

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, mathematics, or human resources field
  • 7+ years of compensation experience
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook, Google & Internet applications, preferably with sophisticated Excel skills
  • Strong analytical problem-solving, planning and project management skills
  • Ability to interpret information to draw conclusions and develop management presentations
  • Ability to seek practical problems and take care of a diverse work environment
  • Diligent and strong discernment
  • Position requires a high level of expertise in both written and oral communications and the ability to speak in large public settings
  • Proven track record to manage multiple projects and project teams
  • Experience in a global organization is helpful
  • Experience with SAP and Market Pay / compensation software preferred

  • The position is located in the Denver corporate office
  • Travel may be required to assist other domestic and international sites
