HR Assistant

The HR Assistant will be responsible for a range of administrative tasks on the People team including maintaining employee files, processing new hire and termination paperwork, and preparing presentation and training materials. Reporting to the Director of People Operations, the Assistant will work closely with all members of the People Team on tasks related to onboarding/offboarding, compliance, training & development and compensation.


Core Job Responsibilities

  • Support internal and external inquiries and requests related to the HR department
  • Maintain paper and electronic employee records
  • Prepare materials for People Team meetings and training sessions
  • Coordinate logistics for new hire orientation
  • Support the Director of People Operations & Senior VP of People in managing their calendars
  • Perform other duties as assigned


Key Deliverables / Outcomes

  • Accurately maintained calendars for People Team leadership
  • People Team communications & presentation materials
  • Onboarding & offboarding policy manuals
  • Organized departmental process documents
  • Accurately maintained employee files


Required Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of HR functions and best practices
  • Impeccable written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of computer applications and HR-specific software programs such as GSuite, Greenhouse and Namely
