HR Admin Assistant

Homestead, FL

Administrative Support

  • Help with paperwork, digital files, and HR databases maintenance .
  • Assist in hiring processes and new employee orientation.
  • Assign uniforms for new and existing employees.
  • Assist management in submitting paperwork or other documentation. 


Employee Relations

  • Answer employee questions about HR policies and benefits.- Assist in solving any problems or conflicts between employees.
  • Assist in resetting passwords for employee HR accounts.


Benefits Administration

  • Help employees with benefits like health insurance and leave.
  • Make sure all benefit paperwork is handled correctly.


HR Compliance

  •  Stay updated on labor laws and make sure the company follows them.
  • Keep accurate records to meet legal requirements.


HR Reporting

  • Create reports on HR data for management.
  • Prepare reports for government agencies when needed.


Training and Development

  •  Schedule and track employee training sessions.


HR Projects

  • Help with special HR projects like improving processes or policies.
  • Work with other departments to achieve project goals.
  • Assist in coordinating company events.
  • Assist in any employee facing projects

 

Qualifications:

  • Associates degree preferred but not required
  • Experience in administrative roles, especially in HR.
  • Basic knowledge of HR practices and software.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with care.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.


Starting Wage: $18/hr. The Flowery offers yearly (or performance based) evaluations per the company's discretion. All full-time employees automatically qualify for benefits, PTO & Paid Holidays after their probationary period; which is 30 days. Starting wages are determined by several factors including experience.

To be eligible for this position, you must meet the following requirements:

  • 21 years of age or older
  • Can actively pass a level two federal background check
  • Obtained their high school diploma, GED or equivalent
  • Flexible availability (please provide requests or restrictions in the application accurately)
  • Can lift 50lbs over their head, stand for long periods of time, sit, bend, kneel, squat etc as necessary to get the job done
