Role Overview

We are looking for:

  • HSE Specialist supporting the Orange, CA site.
  • This role will report the the local HSE Manager and be the primary HSE contact for Orange, but will also work with the HSE team to support the Anaheim and D Air sites.


We count on you to:

  • Promote an observable culture of process safety, quality, and customer service within their organizational control.
  • Support the short term tactical requests from the site-based team while managing the long term strategic projects set forth by the corporate HSE team.
  • Assist the HSE department in the following:
  • Regulatory Compliance - SCAQMD, Cal/OSHA, DTSC, CUPA, SWRCB, EPA, DOT, Cal-ARP, PSM, SPCC, SB-14 & Radiation Safety Program Management.
  • Hazardous Waste Management and DOT Compliance
  • Maintaining RC14001 management system
  • Conducting Environmental, Health and Safety compliance audits and tracking audit findings to completion.
  • Completing and submitting required regulatory paperwork
  • Reviewing and managing HSE performance of contractors
  • Maintaining Safety, Health & Environmental compliance software.
  • Flexibility to work outside normal working hours as required by the projects or events.

You will bring:

  • Bachelor degree in Safety/Environmental Science or equivalent related experience
  • At least three years of EH&S experience with a focus on California Environmental Compliance
  • Generation of JSAs and SOPs
  • EHS training
  • Emergency response facilitation
