Head of Talent Management

Miami, FL

Job Location: Miami, FL (or near any DGF station in North or South America)


At DHL Global Forwarding, PEOPLE matter. The Head of Talent Management is instrumental in driving a comprehensive plan to guarantee the talent pipeline with the adequate leadership skills that will support the business growth. The position must drive change and influence the organization to develop a long-term talent mindset, bring innovation and support the business in retaining the best people.


Key Responsibilities

  • Define short to mid-term regional Talent Management (TM) strategy, including elements such as frameworks, integration with other processes, key initiatives and budgets
  • Build and lead the talent community across the region to drive innovation and alignment to guarantee a talent driven function
  • Influence the organization to gain executive sponsorship for key TM initiatives
  • Introduce and steer innovation across TM processes, systems and products in line with group standards increasing effectiveness
  • Lead and support talent brokerage and cross-divisional talent exchange
  • Drive understanding and delivery of Leadership Evaluation, Achievements, Development and Succession Cycle (LEADS) across the region
  • Ensure succession pipeline analytics and workforce planning, ensuring alignment between data requirements and assessments with overall workforce planning needs
  • Design and lead accelerated development programs/initiatives for key talents in the region to support succession readiness
  • Oversee employee assessment and selection processes and manage selection for senior positions
  • Develop functional career frameworks ensuring global consistency within own business
  • Support and influence the design of Employer Brand/ large scale HR marketing initiatives that drive the group towards becoming an employer of choice
  • Anticipate and translate strategic, complex changes to define new HR information management system requirements


Skills / Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in Talent Management, Talent Acquisition or General HR required
  • 2+ years leadership experience required
  • Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred
  • Fluent in English and Spanish strongly preferred
