Head of Talent Acquisition, Robotics & Digital

Johnson & Johnson Global Services is currently recruiting for a  Head of Talent Acquisition, Robotics & Digital (RAD) located in  Santa Clara, CA . This position directly manages a team of recruiters.

The Head of Talent Acquisition, RAD will lead a team across a full lifecycle recruiting model that will provide J&J with a competitive talent advantage. You will leverage existing industry and business acumen build strong internal and external partnerships to serve as a dedicated, strategic, and trusted talent advisor to Business Leaders, Human Resource partners, Employee Resource Groups as well as a multitude of external partners throughout North America.


You will stay on top of trends and market changes, maintain relevant/current knowledge of the competitive talent landscape including market availability, talent trends, compensation and benefits and will leverage this knowledge to serve as a trusted and credible advisor when translating complex business, enterprise and diversity strategies into actionable hiring outcomes. 


You will oversee an agile team of experienced Recruiters in the end-to-end process of identifying, assessing and acquiring high caliber talent and you will shape, connect and lead resources to deliver on key projects and initiatives with Regional/Business/Functional scope. You will maintain confidentiality and operate with integrity in a complex, high-profile and rapidly changing environment. Finally, you will drive organizational dedication and accountability to deliver operational excellence, business focus and overall development of our people. 


The people leader will lead the delivery, execution, and assessment of recruitment initiatives that enable the acquisition of top talent required to meet strategic objectives in their assigned business/geography that will provide J&J with a competitive recruiting advantage. You will influence outcomes and communicate closely with hiring managers by sharing best practices and using an employee and customer-focused approach to understand their needs and ensure the effective attraction, attraction, selection, and development of a high performing, diverse, and sustainable talent pipeline to drive business results in alignment with organizational and functional HR strategies.  


In this exciting role, you will:  

  • Lead an experienced team of Recruiters in the delivery, execution, and assessment of recruitment initiatives that embrace new technologies to enable the acquisition of top talent required to meet strategic objectives. 
  • Understand and execute business priorities, workforce planning outcomes, regional current and future capability requirements as well as any specific talent challenges by translating a business strategy into actionable steps. 
  • Partner as a talent advisor with internal partners by consistently using an open, consultative, employee and customer-focused mindset to ensure J&J’s ability to attract the necessary talent. 
  • Partner with adjacent TA teams across our model in the development and execution of Regional Diversity strategies across all sectors and business functions in close collaboration with key partners including Business leaders, TA colleagues and Program Management offices. Build capability in DE&I strategy within your team. 
  • Encourage and elevate a team culture of agile methodology to drive a best-in-class candidate experience through a fast, adaptive, iterative recruiting approach, ensuring hyper-connectivity and transparency across multiple partner groups. 
  • Design, enable and stabilize a plan for talent sourcing in your designated business function and/or sector in close partnership with the TA Solutions team and the broader COE TA global community to ensure alignment to shared talent priorities. 
  • Track and assess team performance weekly/monthly/quarterly using critical metrics and predictive analytics, while keeping an eye on emerging talent priorities and Service Delivery opportunities. 
  • Coach and develop team members across TA, focus on building sector-based business acumen in every team member.   
  • Connect closely across the HR Community and with key business stakeholders to ensure awareness and understanding of key business priorities for your team.  


Qualifications

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required. 
  • A minimum of 8 years of professional business experience is required. 
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in HR/Recruiting is required. 
  • Prior people management and leadership in geo-dispersed settings is preferred 
  • Demonstrated success analyzing and presenting data in a compelling narrative that drives data-based impact and decisions for key business partners is required. 
  • Experience utilizing metrics regularly to manage and maintain Service Performance and Team Performance is required.  
  • Experience crafting solutions, with strong communication and collaborative partnership skills with internal and external partners to ensure the effective execution of business solutions across the enterprise through an actionable plan is required. 
  • The ability to provide clear direction across all employee levels quickly and on-demand to work effectively in an agile environment, handle multiple projects and daily ad-hoc operational activities is required. 
  • Strong business acumen across multiple J&J business functions is preferred.  
  • Spanish language bi-lingual fluency is preferred. 
  • This position will be based in Santa Clara, CA and may require up to 10% travel.

The base pay range for this position is $136,000 - $234,140 


The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/ performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
