We are looking for The Head of US and Canada Retail. In this role, you have accountability for leading the stores organization for the United States and Canada ensuring that the revenue, productivity, profitability and customer experience goals are achieved within the US and Canada Marketplaces. You will provide leadership an drive development of our Real Estate and Retail Operations teams. You report to the Managing Director of the US and Canada and will be a key leader on the US and Canada Leadership Team.


About the Job

  • Align with key Global Retail and US and Canada Stakeholders in the development and execution of the Strategic Business Plan and Annual Operating plan that drives retail productivity and profitability improvement, customer service excellence, and equity and revenue growth.
  • Lead and differentiate stores experience from the competition through execution of brand position and communication, execution of visual presentation, and legendary customer service and shopping experiences.
  • Consider category insights from internal/external data to ensure important variables are considered in assortment selection.
  • Lead a cross-functional team that includes Store Operations, Real Estate and Retail Field Leaders.
  • Develop the Retail operations standards and measures for store performance, locations, sizes, formats and systems supporting the Global Retail strategy.
  • Develop effective relationships with brand management and cross-functional business partners including Planning and Allocation, Merchandising, Marketing, HR and Finance.
  • Ensure innovative and effective POS (point of sales) presentation consistently across all retail stores while ensuring executional differences to meet local target customer and location needs.
  • Ensure oversight of all local real estate needs.
  • Own all aspects of the internal and external vendor relationships related to store operations.
  • Ensure store presentations reflect the Brand strategy.
  • Develop and execute global store experience and selling culture.
  • Lead, motivate and instill excellence in all employees of the US& Canada Retail organization.
  • Galvanize a high performing store associate organization.
  • Leverage consumer insights and behavior to drive all strategy and initiatives across vertical retail.
  • Improve capability of direct repots by creating a team defined by rich talent, deep and capable bench strength and strong succession plans that reflect the LS&Co. way and winning culture.
  • Ensure optimal organizational design/development structures and processes are in place for teams which lever and perform at a high level within the LS&Co. matrix.


About You

  • Bachelor’s degree- Business Administration or related field preferred
  • A minimum of 10 years of progressive retail management experience in the apparel industry, preferably in a vertical retailer.
  • Demonstrated success in store management, operations, leadership and team/staff management.
  • Must be a strong operator who can drive strategy, motivate teams and set a vision.
  • Demonstrated proficiency managing multiple fast paced, complex projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to function effectively and comfortably, working across functions and geographies in a global, highly matrixed organization.

The expected starting salary range for this role is $286,500 to $433,900. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on the location of the role. The amount a particular employee will earn within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, performance and business needs.
