WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Head of QA Automation will be responsible for establishing automated testing infrastructure and practice. You will architect and implement test automation frameworks from the ground up into a continuous integration and execution model. You will work with the development team to define and implement mechanisms to inject testing early into the software development process, empowering rapid development and innovation while maintaining high quality. You will coordinate with business, product and development teams in overseeing bug tracking, test prioritization, test automation, and release management.
Remote work is fully acceptable for this position with occasional travel encouraged for optimal results. We maintain an HQ in NYC and also have nexuses forming in both Austin, TX, and Denver, CO.
Establish automation testing as a seamless and integral part of FEVO’s software development process
Develop high-quality automation test engineering best practices, test strategy, and principles
Define and track quality assurance metrics (such as defect densities and open defect counts)
Track and communicate test results in a timely, effective, and automated manner
Hire, train, and mentor a strong team of automation engineers

WHAT YOU WILL BRING:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
6 years of experience in software engineering/automation
Deep knowledge of test methodologies, developing test plans (web apps, services), leading test/automation frameworks (Appium / Auto 8 / JMeter / Selenium / API testing / Test complete / UI Path), creating test cases and debugging.
Experience building highly automated environments using cloud resources (AWS, GCP) and integrating test automation in continuous testing pipelines (including health checks or code scanning) with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub CI.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
