Team Description

Our Finance team builds the financial infrastructure to scale our growing company. We combine analytical and strategic thinking to develop a sound financial future for our global brand. We work closely with teams across the company, as well as with external partners.

Dropbox is looking for a Head of Investor Relations. As the leader of the Investor Relations function, you’ll play a critical role in supporting investor and research analyst engagement by the executive team and shaping the investor messaging and financial narrative Dropbox. You will build, maintain and expand relationships with a broad investor base that includes top mutual and hedge funds and research analysts covering the company.

Responsibilities:

Serve as an integral part of setting and communicating the investor narrative for the company
Act as the spokesperson for Dropbox in day-to-day engagement with the investor and analyst communities
Distill and communicate feedback and viewpoints from the investor community to company leadership and Board
Craft key talking points for all investor communications, including press releases, earnings call scripts, Q&A, Investor Day events, investor conferences, and one-on-one meetings
Organize and manage events on company IR calendar, including Investor Day, investor conferences, and one-on-one meetings
Collaborate with other teams - including Product, Marketing, Communications, PR, Legal, Business Development and Corporate Finance - to align investor communications with broader company strategy

Qualifications & Desired Experience

10+ years of experience including sell side equity research or investor relations at a public company in the technology sector
Superior communications skills, both written and oral, with the presence and confidence to interact with senior executives and investors and represent Dropbox at investor conferences
Strong financial and business acumen, including a firm grasp of the metrics and financial modeling used by investment professionals to inform valuation
Highly entrepreneurial, collaborative and strategic
