At Ethyca, we're engineering trust for humanity. We believe that by building Fides, the operating system for Data Privacy & AI Governance we can solve the world's most critical and challenging problems of trust and safety in data and AI driven enterprise on behalf of every person. We partner with the most important institutions in the world to transform the safety, trust and integrity of their data and technology systems.

Our software has been used to power the safety and privacy of millions of users globally.

At its core, this role is about category creation and brand awareness. Today our clients come to us because they have heard our growing reputation for category defining technology and a unique, engineering-first approach to data governance. As the marketing lead of Ethyca, you will work closely with the founder and CEO to clearly define and own this new category.

You will create content and marketing strategies that maximize reach and awareness of Ethyca's rapidly growing brand reputation as part of this category definition strategy. With a focus on growth and maximizing efficiency, you will be responsible for growth, content marketing, SEO and performance maximization while building brand.

If you believe in the importance of trust in data and AI, and in your own ability to define a new category and educate entire industries on the importance, power and value of Data Privacy and AI Governance, we want to meet you.

Core Responsibilities

As the Head of Marketing you will be a player-coach leader, responsible for all strategy and planning across branding, positioning, content and growth. The ideal candidate has 5-7 years in demand generation and growth marketing, and is comfortable “at the controls” of a high-velocity demand engine. If you’re a battle-tested B2B marketer in a late-stage startup, and are seeking to step into a leadership role, we want to talk with you.

  • 5+ years experience in B2B and enterprise marketing.
  • Exceptional time, task, and resource management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, coaching, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in reporting tools and formats, dashboards and presentation.
  • Ability to develop insights, iterate quickly and lead small cross-functional marketing teams.
  • Willingness to continue building skills through educational opportunities.
