This position reports to: Global Communications Manager
Your role and responsibilities
Apply graphic design principles (layout, imagery, typography, etc.) to communicate themes and messages in collateral material: key art, digital/social ads, promotional material such as one sheets, brochures, banners, posters, panels, trade show and events walls/backdrops, calendars, cards, etc Utilize graphic software (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) to high impact and visually appealing graphic designs Manage and maintain organized graphic files, including photos, vector art and logos Must be able to take a creative look into brand guidelines and think outside the box to make the design branded but creative Collaborate with the Marcom team to understand project assignment, audience and intended message Track, communicate and evaluate progress of projects and associated metrics throughout process, revising projects as necessary based on collaborative feedback process and ensure on time delivery of projects. Apply ABB brand specifications to ensure work meets organization guidelines. Contribute to social media marketing and aid in the creation of our 500 plus pages catalog, print and digital
Qualifications for the role
- Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 3 years experience OR Associate's Degree with minimum 5 years experience. A Degree in Graphic/Web Design - Preferred.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.
- Strong grasp of design principles (typography, color, layout, composition).
- Preferred Experience Includes: Proficiency in graphic software as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign - Experience in web design and working in HTML - Familiarity with Brand Guidelines
- Work independently as well as cooperatively with marketing team to meet deadlines, stay within budget and schedule project implementation based on workload, which may include five or more simultaneous projects
- Ideal candidate should be able to independently organize and prioritize your workload, clearly communicate with team members on tasks and should have a strong sense of urgency
