Graphic Design Intern

El Segundo, CA

Mattel is currently seeking Graphic Design Interns in El Segundo, CA. This is a paid part-time internship tentatively set from September-December 2021. 


What Your Impact Will Be: 

  • Work beside experienced product and graphic designers to learn and understand the process of designing toys 
  • Know how to conceptualize ideas both verbally and through rough sketches. 
  • Dive into competitive analysis, create mood boards, sketch logos and lay out graphics 
  • Create beautiful repeat prints for fashions 
  • Be able to both collaborate and develop ideas independently 


What We’re Looking For: 

  • Majoring in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, or related
  • Strong creative thinking skills 
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Proactive attitude, good work ethic with an interest in toy design and fashion design 
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office
