Graphic Design

Rochester, NY

The Communication Systems Creative Services Team is seeking a talented, visual designer to help support a growing demand for compelling print and digital creative content. In this role you will work closely with other designers and marketing managers to design and develop digital and print solutions for advertising, social media, tradeshow, collateral, interactive and multimedia deliverables. The position requires a motivated creative problem solver, eager to understand our technology and create impressive designs that promote the company’s vision of being a Trusted Disruptor for our customers. You should have original ideas, a keen eye for detail, self-driven work ethic and effective communication skills.


Position Responsibilities:

  • Independently generate creative ideas and participate in brainstorming sessions to share new design perspectives and ideas
  • Prepare design projects for print and/or digital delivery, following department workflow processes
  • Craft compelling communication solutions from concept to completion
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of latest trends and techniques in design to keep ideas relevant and engaging
  • Assist in evolving our brand voice, while still ensuring compliance with company brand standards


Skills/Competencies:

  • Critical thinking through visual storytelling
  • Excellent design and typography skills with a sound understanding of visual hierarchy
  • Excellent working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite with emphasis on InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and XD
  • Knowledge of Premier Pro, After Effects, Character Animator, and Substance 3D is a plus
  • UI and digital publishing experience a plus
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and ability to work on multiple overlapping projects
  • Strong drive for individual excellence and team success


Additional Considerations:

  • This is a hybrid work location role. Candidates will work onsite at our Rochester NY, Salt Lake City UT, or Londonderry NH facility a minimum of three days per week and may work remote the remaining days per week.
  • High-speed internet connection required when working remote

Qualifications:

  • In pursuit of a Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Interactive Arts, Multimedia, New Media or equivalent
