Government Industrial Security Advisor

What you will achieve

The ideal candidate will be adaptable and fast-moving and will provide analysis and support for DoD (Department of Defense) and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Program contracts, to include coordination with Program Management, Primes, Subcontractors, and Government Customers. Additional duties will include analysis and process improvements for Government security initiatives.


You will:

  • Experience writing security volumes for proposals, DD254s, and other contract mechanisms; Ability to record and analyze information related to business opportunity lifecycle; Derive and analyze relevant success metrics from data captured in security technology toolsets
  • Understand government security requirements/regulations and assess their applicability to the environment
  • Contribute to the crafting of security policies, standards, and other governance activities to ensure compliance with government security regulations; Participate in the evaluation of implemented security controls to ensure continued compliance
  • Familiarize with classification guides associated with DoD information; Working knowledge of government databases; Experience with SIMS software a plus
  • Contribute to projects consistent with Dell Government Security strategic plans

Essential Requirements

  • 5+ years’ experience in security for classified government programs
  • Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to develop and render concise reports, summaries, and formal presentations.
  • In-depth knowledge of NISPOM, ICD, Executive Orders, and DoD Directives. Knowledge of secure supply chain principles, CMMC, NIST 800-171 is a plus
  • U.S. Citizenship with ability to get a Top-Secret clearance required; existing clearance and/or ability to get SCI access is preferred


Desirable Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Industrial Security Professional or equivalent certification preferred
