Global Product Marketing Manager, Audiences & Targeting

As the Product Marketing Manager for Audience & Targeting Solutions, you will be responsible for setting the go-to-market strategy for all regions. You will partner closely with the product team and the partnerships team to develop the overall strategic direction and assess key gaps in our targeting and audience offering.


This person uses their experience and technical knowledge working with audiences and targeting product team to develop the strategy, bring together cross-functional stakeholders to execute on their plans, and align senior product leadership around those plans. You understand market trends, the competitive landscape, and have experience applying those to positively influence advertisers, agencies, and other cross functional partners.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead and consolidate market assessment, quantitative analysis and qualitative feedback, represent all regions internally with PM and Engineering teams, and define go-to-market strategy for TikTok's ever-evolving ads product, with a focus on audience and targeting solutions.
  • Partner closely with regional counterparts, sales teams, and other key stakeholders to deeply understand audience and targeting pain points, form business requirements, and prioritize solutions to influence the direction of product development.
  • This individual must demonstrate a strong understanding of broader advertising ecosystem as it pertains to targeting solutions and competitive landscape to develop strategic positioning and provide product feedback.
  • You will be instrumental in setting the go-to-market strategy by region, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy.
  • Plan and lead the successful adoption of alpha and beta programs for our targeting solutions.
  • Communicate the value proposition of new products to all stakeholders and ensure that effective collateral and packages are created.
  • Drive product adoption and usage rates by supporting key market strategy and effective product support.
  • Build an understanding of the most nascent TikTok advertising and targeting solutions and leverage these products to achieve customer goals.


Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree or above.
  • 5+ years of experience within the digital advertising industry across social, display, direct response, ad networks and/or search with a keen understanding of targeting.
  • Experience partnering with product teams to identify and bring to market solutions for sellers.
  • Strong knowledge of sales and marketing processes.
  • Strong knowledge of CDP/DMP.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive results, developing and executing against global launch plans to bring products to market.
  • A fast learner with a good sense of judgment and original thinking. Ability to thrive in ambiguity and adjust quickly to change.
  • A commercial mindset with experience building business cases from market research and analysis.
  • Excellent communication, organizational and analytical skills.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Product marketing experience in web and mobile advertising and successfully contributing at both strategic and tactical levels.
  • Experience in influencing behavior change of key stakeholders at a variety of levels within an organization.
  • Experience in influencing product management decisions.
  • Experience in audience integration with CDP/DMP, API, and strong knowledge in 3P data licensing.
