What you’ll do 

  • The candidate will have oversight of in-house facility and amenity management, including Engineering, Conference Services, Concierge and Janitorial services, Health and Safety as well as strong liaison with outsourced food service providers. 
  • There is additional global support leadership in a variety of other areas. 
  • Handling of staff recruitment, training and overseeing the service excellence quotient will be one of the prime responsibilities.

What you’ll need 

  • The successful candidate must have an engaging, high-energy personality with a passion for hospitality and providing excellent experiences to clients.
  • The ideal candidate will demonstrate stellar communication skills, innovative thought process, and ethical disposition. Must have strong hospitality management exposure in a luxury environment.
  • Candidates should have experience in New York City and within large volume and fast paced environment. They must demonstrate leadership and communication skills that will enhance the reputation, quality and performance of their management and operational style. 
  • Will be dealing directly with the organization’s senior leadership team frequently.
  • Will have at least 10 years of demonstrated ability in the 5 Star Luxury Hospitality Management Field.
  • Candidate must have a bachelor’s or higher in a related field.


CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the General Manager position is $180,000 annually [or $86.54 per hour] and the maximum salary for the General Manager position is $200,000 annually [or $96.15 per hour]. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
