General Manager

Hillsboro, OR

The General Manager, Office of the CIO will be responsible for:

  • Lead and manage a portfolio of IT teams including Mergers & Acquisitions, Program Management Office, Learning and Development, and IT@Intel (External customer engagement to showcase IT successes/best practices using Intel technology)
  • Create seamless integration of IT capabilities, tools, and systems for mergers & acquisitions
  • Drive effective One IT investments using consistent prioritization, execution frameworks, metrics, and PM processes
  • Build a sharing platform for IT@Intel to amplify best-in-class adoption of IT practices and solutions
  • Create direction and connections across IT's segments and programs to enable efficient and effective IT operations
  • Create a culture of innovation, value, efficiency, and collaboration to empower and motivate your team
  • Shape the organization into a competitive advantage for Intel through the implementation of career development and training plans
  • Role model Intel values, culture, and leadership practices to grow the pipeline of managers and leaders

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Qualifications listed as preferred or additional will be considered a plus factor for applicants.


Education:

  • The candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in a related Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field


Minimum Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of relevant leadership experience
  • 10+ years of IT-related work experience with a strong track record of superior delivery results


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree (MS or MBA, etc) is a plus
  • Deep functional expertise of underlying business processes and technical expertise of systems that support processes of IT
  • Deep understanding of enterprise IT from business, technology, and operational perspectives, knowledge of ITIL, Six Sigma, Waterfall and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)

Inside this Business Group

Intel's Information Technology Group (IT) designs, deploys and supports the information technology architecture and hardware/software applications for Intel. This includes the LAN, WAN, telephony, data centers, client PCs, backup and restore, and enterprise applications. IT is also responsible for e-Commerce development, data hosting and delivery of Web content and services.
