General Manager

Located at Red Bull's Dallas office, The General Manager (GM) oversees all Red Bull sales and marketing activity within a defined geographic area or region. The GM is responsible for leading the planning and execution of Red Bull’s business plan within the region. In conjunction with the U.S. Headquarters & Business Unit department leadership teams, they create the annual Business Plan for the region and ensure its execution. The GM’s leadership team is composed of a Director, Marketing (DOM); Director, On Premise (DOP); and Director, Distribution (DOD) and is expected to work closely with the U.S. & Business Unit leadership teams (Marketing, On Premise, Distribution, Key Accounts, Finance, and Human Resources) to understand Red Bull business strategies and implement them within the region with their customers and consumers.

PLAN & EXECUTE REGION BUSINESS PLAN (BP)

  • Build the annual BP for the region in accordance with global & national strategies
  • Ensure alignment and integration for marketing and sales initiatives
  • Drive, align, and implement annual BP with region’s third party & independent distributors
  • Provide input and feedback to senior leadership on BP strategies
  • Manage region budgets for Marketing, Distribution, On Premise, and in-directs according to business plan


LEADERSHIP

  • Lead team in executing against key customer and consumer initiatives
  • Track and measure KPI results on key region goals and objectives vs. business plan
  • Drive consistent coaching, feedback, and training across all teams in real time
  • Ensure yearly goals and KPIs are set for every employee
  • Drive “Best 11 Player” philosophy on talent and hiring decisions
  • Establish an open and honest culture that drives transparency, feedback, trust, diversity, and inclusion within the region


REGION MARKET TRENDS & ANALYSIS

  • Track and analyze key customer and consumer trends (e.g., $ share, PSA, WvC, T&A, HHP, SOR, etc.) and develop action plans to address market opportunities
  • Ensure Red Bull is the number 1 executed energy drink brand in store
  • Ensure key business plan priorities are executed with our distributor networks
  • Maintain strong and effective business relationships with our 3rd Party Distribution Partners through consistent communication and feedback


KEY RESULTS & DELIVERABLES

  • Achieve annual volume business plan goal
  • Deliver in-store execution results (e.g. WvC, PSR, VIP)
  • Deliver annual distribution goals
  • Deliver against Business Plan marketing events, athlete projects, media outcomes, and consumer metrics
  • Deliver dollar and unit share results


Your areas of knowledge and expertise

that matter most for this role:

  • 10-15 years of experience within Sales, Marketing, On Premise, and/or Distribution
  • Track record of success in previous roles executing against key business opportunities and challenges
  • Extensive experience leading teams and cultivating an inclusive and dynamic team culture and environment
  • Ability to lead commercial business team’s goals and objectives
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and direct multiple people, departments, and channels at the same time
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • High level of ethical and professional standards
  • Bachelor's Preferred
  • Travel 10-20%
  • Permanent
