Gaming Intern

The Gaming Intern serves as the support role for all the TMA Gaming team and clients. The Intern’s focus is project management, organizing and maintaining internal team processes, provide general administrative support to the team, including scheduling meetings, organizing work output, and assistance with communication between internal teams, clients, partners / vendors. They may juggle work on several different accounts, support new business pitches, and work on internal projects. They will be looked to as an internal subject matter expert in gaming including knowledge of various IPs, consumer trends, category news, etc.


Responsibilities:

  • Support existing TMA Gaming team with workload
  • Update and manage all status documents utilized by team and other account stakeholders
  • Facilitate team meetings by setting up, owning, and tracking invites, notes, and follow-ups
  • Maintain processes and tools to help keep the team organized and efficient
  • Assist with research and recommendations for client POVs
  • Help organize brainstorming meetings for gaming category work by utilizing subject matter experts across agency
  • Write and source articles and content for multiple pieces of TMA content on a regular basis
  • Help manage partners and vendors utilized by the TMA Gaming team
  • Keep on top of gaming category trends and news and lead internal education initiatives


Qualifications:

  • Strong interest in an agency role
  • Passion for and knowledge of the gaming category (playing/consuming content)
  • Knowledgeable in most major social platforms relevant to gaming (Twitch, YouTube, Twitter, IG, Facebook, etc.)
  • Interest in influencer and experiential marketing
  • Ability to take direction and move quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Be motivated, goal oriented, persistent and skilled in negotiation and conflict resolution 
  • Possess strong interpersonal/communication skills 
  • Ability to gather project requirements and effectively communicate them to the team
