Freddie Mac’s Investments & Capital Markets (I&CM) Business Technology Office is looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer who enjoys data and building data storage platforms from ground up using microservices architecture. Our ideal candidate is passionate about data analysis, technology and helping people use the technology to transform their business processes and analytics.

In this role, you will be part of a team that supports a variety of internal customers. You will analyze, design, and develop data storage and data analytic solutions using data lake patterns, that help our customers run more effective operations and make better business decisions.

We are part of a data platform that is building the next generations' way of consuming data in the cloud by modelers. We build various data governance solutions using the latest microservices architecture, which run as cohesive unit within the overall data platform strategy.

Your Impact:

You will join a team building a new future by working on pioneering cloud data governance tools and technologies. You will support a variety of internal customers and draw on all the skills in your toolkit to analyze, design, and develop microservices based apps focusing cloud data storage and analytic solutions that use data lake patterns.

Qualifications:

Master or bachelor's degree
4+ years of relevant professional experience
3+ years of demonstrated experience developing RESTFUL APIs with Spring Boot
4+ years of experience developing in Java, python
4+ years of experience developing in Angular, and with HTML and CSS
4+ year of experience with relational database architecture
Demonstrated experience working with different Databases and understanding of data concepts (data warehousing, data lake patterns, structured Familiar implementing AWS services in distributed computing, enterprise environments)
Experience writing automated unit, integration, regression, performance, and acceptance tests
Good understanding of the current trends in Data Engineering domain
Solid understanding of software design principles
