Front End Web Developer

Antares Audio Technologies, inventors of Auto-Tune, and worldwide leader in vocal production tools, is looking for a Junior Front End Web Developer to join our Engineering Department’s Cloud Services team as it scales up to support our rapidly growing business. The candidate will work closely with Senior Software Engineers and key stakeholders to create new interfaces, implement new features for existing interfaces and assist in scaling and modernizing our technology stack in order to provide rich user experiences across our various web services and web applications.

The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated and disciplined self-starter with a passion for learning, problem solving and frontend design and development. Required skills include the following:

The ideal candidate should:

Well grounded knowledge of UX and UI design principles.
Possess strong knowledge of Javascript, HTML, and CSS.
Be well versed in modern client-side javascript frameworks, such as Vue, React, or Angular.
Have basic knowledge of Vue.js, REST architecture, Git version control, and an understanding of responsive web design.
Be familiar with and know when (and when not) to use front end software design patterns such as asynchronicity, data binding, modules, component state, objects, promises, application store, etc.
Have experience working in an agile software development environment.

Other desirable skills include:

Experience with PHP and an understanding of object oriented programming.
Basic Unix command line knowledge.
Familiarity with Wordpress and the Wordpress REST API.
Basic understanding of the Flux state management pattern.
Understand the concept of a Single Page Application (SPA) web implementation and decoupled application architecture.
