The Frontend Software Engineer (React Specialist) owns the technical leadership and implementation for our team’s React frontends. We’re looking for someone with deep expertise in React and a passion for sharing that knowledge.

The Product Development team is a part of the Farming Solutions & Digital group that designs and builds customer-facing digital solutions that maximize value for farmers and advisors. Our work helps fuel and expose Corteva’s scientific innovation.

How will you help us grow? It matters to us, and it matters to you!

Build Typescript-driven React front-end framework that will improve global agricultural sustainability across millions of acres
Work on a small team with outsized impacts across Granular, and Granular’s parent company, Corteva Agriscience
Have an impact on farms of all sizes in developing markets across the world
Use some of the latest web development technologies, including a production deployment using Webpack 5 module federation
Be a mentor and technical leader in Corteva’s product development organization
Have a direct impact on the product and roadmap
Reimagine and influence the tools and frameworks to support disciplines in the engineering, design, product and data science organizations.

Who You Will Do It With:

Seasoned leaders in the agriculture industry with years of experience in creating leading digital agtech products
A small (but not for long) team working on a suite of digital libraries, tools, and framework to transform the typical agriculture product development experience
Senior engineers and leaders who are committed to designing, engineering and collaborating on scalable solutions that excite and delight our customers
The entire organization aligned on improving the way we write our applications, share our successes and tailor experiences for locales and customers

Qualifications

What expertise have you grown? What do you bring to the table?

Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to take initiative and build strong, productive relationships
You’ve got deep expertise in React, reflected by 8-10 years of front-end development experience and/or through open-source contributions, blog posts, talks, etc.
You’ve got a passion for understanding your customers needs and attend to feedback
You’re excited about working on a variety of greenfield MVP projects
You’re an experienced javascript developer and know your way around Typescript
You’re flexible in your approach to software development and understand the challenges of delivering software on time and at scale
You know how to diagnose problems and can help other engineers find, fix, and prevent such issues
You write clean, tested, encapsulated code that engineers at any level can easily understand and adapt
You’ve got experience working with and building tests to support CICD pipelines
You love helping engineers improve their skills in a positive, supportive manner
BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
