Role Description
Thinx is seeking an exceptional finance professional responsible for overseeing the financial planning and analysis activities of an organization. The role requires a strong understanding of financial principles, data analysis, and business strategy
The Work You’ll Do:
- Leading the development of the company's annual budget, forecasting financial performance, and tracking actual results against budget.
- Conducting complex financial analyses and modeling to provide insights into business performance, identify areas for improvement, and drive strategic decision-making.
- Preparing and presenting financial reports, including financial statements, key performance indicators (KPIs), and ad hoc analysis for senior leadership and board members.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams such as sales, marketing, operations, and HR to provide financial insights and support strategic initiatives.
- Support essential decisions through ad-hoc analyses (e.g. departmental P&Ls, magnitude and timing of infrastructure investment)
This role is a key high visibility role for the Finance team and reports directly to the Senior Director of FP&A
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field. MBA or CFA is preferred.
- At least 5-7 years of experience in financial planning and analysis.
- Strong financial modeling, data analysis, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
- Experience with financial systems and tools such as ERP, budgeting and forecasting software, and business intelligence tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet
- Experience working in any consumer facing industry with a multiple products/brands (Apparel, CPG, etc.), business units/subsidiaries, 3rd party warehouses, and channels (DTC and wholesale models)
Additional Preferred Skills:
- Adaptive and NetSuite or SAP experience
- Company experience includes both middle market and large corporate

Our Compensation Philosophy
At Thinx, our compensation philosophy is driven by the goal of attracting, developing, and retaining the best people to further our mission, vision, and business goals. Compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including and not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific location. For New York City the range of base annual salary for this position is $104,200 - $130,000. Candidates being considered for work in other locations will be subject to the base salary range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter. Base annual salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits that may be available.
