- Prepare weekly revenue views for Region/Hub accountability. Understand and incorporate ASC 606 revenue recognition guidelines. Identify weekly variances and work with supply chain and sales to validate information
- Prepare first line analysis for variances to Budgets and Quarterly forecasts and review with Senior analyst / FP&A Manager with providing the teams with systematic, integral data to support their key analysis and decision making.
- Provide input to the planning and forecasting process, including methodology setting, variance analysis and management, as well as short-term forecasting.
- Monitor KPIs and management reporting requirements, prepare budgets & forecasts, and measure and challenge businesses results in line with the Regional team’s strategic goals
- Analyze and review monthly management information within the region on a timely basis
- Contribute and work closely with the Accounting teams to identify and analyze data and variances
- Support the FP&A leader with a variety of ad hoc management reporting and analysis projects.
- Streamline the key reporting needs and packs for the plan and work with the FP&A team to develop them.
- Initiate and implement other innovative and transformational ideas focused on growing efficiency and effectiveness in the various processes that fall under this role.
Compensation and Benefits
The annual pay range for this position is USD $77,600 - $124,00.
Pay ranges at Ciena are designed to accommodate variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions, and locations, reflecting our diverse products, industries, and lines of business. Please note that the pay range information provided in this posting pertains specifically to the primary location, which is the top location listed in case multiple locations are available.
Non-Sales employees may be eligible for a discretionary incentive bonus, while Sales employees may be eligible for a sales commission.
