Floor Supervisor

A floor supervisor works with Budtenders, Inventory Specialists, and the management team to ensure that daily tasks are completed to the highest efficiency. Floor supervisors should act with integrity and tact when interacting with staff and customers.
They are often the vital link between store leadership, vault staff, budtenders, and the public. A floor supervisor must have a professional attitude, comply with all state, local and company policies, and excel at customer service.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Accessing the overnight and drop safes to drop and collect budtender monies, initiate change swaps, and restock cash drawers.
- Receive customer service escalations and liaise between customer and management.
- Initiate store opening and closing procedures with consistent focus building security.
- Initiate opening and closing procedures for POS systems, inventory, and cash-handling.
- Inventory maintenance via Leaf Logix and METRC
- Maintain a clean and orderly store and workspace.
- Update online and in-store menu.
- Identify and escalate issues for chain-of-command handling.
- Coverage during Budtender and Vault Staff breaks.
- Maintain agile store scheduling, with an eye to payroll efficiency (ie: ID and handle over-or under-staffing)
- Exhibit leadership among budtenders and vault staff to ensure efficient workflow.
- Enforce company policies for attendance, tardiness, dress code, substance use, computer, and phone use.
- Ensures the store is replenished throughout the day, arranges merchandise to highlight sales and promotional events to company standard.
- Appropriately greets and answers customer questions via phone, in-person, or any other modality.
- Participates in inventory preparation, execution, and follow-up.
- Operates within regulatory standards set by CCC and state/local authority.
- Comply with CCC Agent Card renewal, annual CORI check and annual RVT training.
- Continue education regarding new and existing products; demonstrate product knowledge to customers.
- All other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATONS
- High school or equivalent required
- 1-3 years retail experience required.
- 1-3 years of retail team leadership experience preferred.
- Demonstrated attention to detail, and excellence in customer service required.
- Demonstrated knowledge of cannabis strains, consumption methods, effects, and trends
REQUIREMENTS
- Night and Weekend availability- weekend availability is a MUST
- Ability to stand for 6 hours or more.
- Must pass all required pre-employment screenings.
- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
- Ability to work directly with and around fresh cannabis plant material, dried cannabis plant material, processed cannabis plant material, cannabis concentrates and cannabis derived oil.
