Financial Planning and Analysis Manager

Darigold is seeking a B2C FP&A Manager, which will report to the Director – FP&A and will play a key role in forming Darigold’s strategic positioning and execution. This role provides the opportunity for an analytically minded individual with strong communication and analytical skills to serve as a financial advisor to the senior leadership.

The B2C FP&A Manager has an opportunity to shape the trajectory of this historic company’s growth in the Pacific Northwest.


What You Will Do

  • Lead B2C forecasting and budgeting efforts – consolidating, structuring, and pressure-testing key assumptions.
  • Prepare comprehensive financial models and analysis to support strategic decision-making by senior leadership.
  • Identify opportunities for performance improvement, supporting business opportunities and key decisions with analysis and strategic framework.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance against budget, forecast, and prior year, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide insightful variance analysis and explanations to senior management, highlighting key drivers of performance and recommending actions to address areas of concern.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly management reporting packages, including financial statements, key metrics, and commentary on business performance.
  • Support ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as needed, including pricing analysis, product profitability analysis, and investment evaluation.


This individual will partner with Darigold’s B2C senior leadership and will have strong communications and relationship-building skills, with experience partnering with senior executives to identify strategic and operational issues impacting the business.


The candidate will be intellectually and analytically curious, and will be able to structure analysis independently, and articulate insights to a wide range of business leaders.


What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree, in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or in a related area. MBA preferred.
  • At least 5 years of financial experience in one of the following: Management Consulting, Investment Banking, Corporate Development, Corporate FP&A or Corporate Finance
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills required.


Nice to Have’s

  • Experience with CPG or other consumer-growth businesses preferred.
  • Strong quantitative skillset and financial acumen, and ability to form sound financial judgements through analysis, modeling, and estimation.
  • Working knowledge of Oracle systems, Essbase, Hyperion, and SmartView preferred
  • Effectively handles multiple assignments, sometimes under tight
  • Proven track record of strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Compensation range: $106,187.00-$159,280.00 (individual wage based on previous experience, knowledge, and skills)

Qualifications

  • Required - Bachelors or better in Accounting or related field.
  • Preferred - Masters or better in Accounting or related field.


Experience

  • Strong Microsoft Office Skills
  • 5 years - Financial experience in one of the following: management, consulting, investment banking, corporate development, corporate FP&A or corporate finance.
