Financial Analyst

Moline, IL

As a Financial Analyst for Treasury located in Moline, Illinois, you will manage global intercompany loans and loan reporting/accounting and provide support to other cash management team members. In addition, you will...

  • Analyze global bank fees and prepare bank fee reporting for management
  • Investigate and answer complex accounting and banking questions
  • Manage cash management projects of medium complexity

What Skills You Need

  • 2 or more years of demonstrated ability to evaluate and prioritize information available to make difficult decisions in a timely manner.
  • 2 or more years of experience making financial decisions which are in the company’s best interests.
  • 2 or more years of demonstrated ability to synthesize information from a variety of sources to arrive at a broader, deeper understanding of issues and identify common root causes and underlying factors.
  • 2 or more years of demonstrated ability to deliver results when faced with new business challenges or roles.
  • 2 or more years of demonstrated ability to take responsibility in a situation without being asked; having the confidence to take the first step in unfamiliar circumstances.


What Makes You Stand Out

  • 2 or more years of experience in Accounting and/or Finance internal or external to Deere.
  • Some understanding of global financial markets, derivatives, and currency management.
  • Some understanding of financial transactions that relate to cash and funding activities.
  • Excellent communication skills including written, oral, and presentation capabilities demonstrating the ability to clearly and concisely communicate to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated understanding of finance management fundamentals, including unit general ledger activities.
  • Knowledge of accounting systems and policies, ideally including the processes that have been followed at John Deere. SAP knowledge preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects of medium complexity.


Education

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting / finance disciplines or equivalent experience.
