Financial Analyst

New York, NY

Responsibilities

  • Use proprietary models to price and value corporate credit based single tenant real estate transactions
  • Model cash, accounting, and tax impact of real estate financing structures
  • Assist in all phases of a transaction from assembling pitch decks, performing credit underwriting analysis and asset valuations, financial modeling of alternatives, preparation of marketing materials, marketing transactions to investors, and deal negotiation
  • Support senior team members in sourcing and execution of business development 
  • Assist in the preparation of materials for client meetings, internal and external
  • Assist in collecting and evaluating required transaction due diligence, including making necessary inquiries to clients to ensure that required information is provided in a timely and effective manner
  • Review and summarize tenant leases and articulate issues/concerns in a clear and effective manner
  • Convey all particulars of a transaction (financial projections, market and location issues and tenant analysis, etc.) in formal written format, for marketing materials presented to clients
  • Significant contact with clients, internal C&W team members, and external advisors such as legal counsel and accounting firms


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting or related discipline
  • 0 - 2 years industry experience (real estate and/or finance or accounting).

  • Self-motivated, team-oriented, and strong time management skills to prioritize deadlines
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, quantitative, writing and communication skills
  • Strong research, analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative information. 
  • Strong proficiency Microsoft Office
