Your responsibilities
- Provide unit leadership with scenario plans driven by volume changes, investments, and external influences and identify and proactively pursue business opportunities as they arise
- Participate actively in the creation and implementation of action plans for a unit during the BPL process.
- Coordinate the Goal processes for the unit, establish budgets, and communicate and explain goals.
- Secure the Unit reporting and commentary according to common rules and deadlines.
- Highlight discrepancies between goals and actual results and identify and support in creating and implementing improvement actions, with a secure follow-up.
- Initiate and/or support benchmark activities towards other comparable Units.
- Provide the Unit Manager and Market Area CFF management team with reliable navigation information.
- Have full responsibility for the Unit P&L while supporting and challenging leadership to achieve their goals in these areas.
- Secure the performance measurement and support to improve the performance of KPIs by being close to operations such as organizing workshops for business improvement, benchmark activities etc.
- Facilitate the decision-making process by providing the Unit Manager and Market Area CFF management team with tools, analysis, and/or evaluations of business potentials.
This role supports the business by enhancing customer value, and growth and optimizing long-term business performance for IKEA. As a strategic partner, enabling better business decisions, securing efficiency, and leading in accordance with financial and business strategies. This includes securing (financial) business performance, Operational (KPIs) performance, and a safe and secure environment in compliance with laws, policies, and standards, and processes.
