Financial Analyst
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• The primary function of a Financial Analyst who focused on finance related operations and financial analysis for the visual display team.
• This person provides financial analysis in Sales and Marketing including monthly forecasting and closing and directly reports to the finance manager.
• Responsible for Sample Management – this includes logging internal and external transactions, prepare for quarterly inventory audit, manage high volume data entries and logistics coordination for tradeshows and exhibitions.
• Responsible for monthly financial forecast, monthly closing and management plan
• Responsible for daily submissions of Conditions and Business Justifications
• Responsible for daily submissions Payments
• Overhead control (Sales Deduction & Marketing expense)
• Set up database for financial data for effective utilization for all financial reports
• AD hoc projects
• Support monthly closing process
Role and Responsibilities
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
- Interest in finance
- Strong communications, leadership, and networking skills
- Strong analytical and research skills
- Project management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Web search (Bloomberg experience preferred)
- Must have fluid knowledge and use of Excel using pivot tables and v-lookups.
Skills and Qualifications
Necessary Skills / Attributes
- Highly Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills required
- Experience as Financial Analyst for one or two years
- Degree in BA (accounting and finance major preferred)
- Experience of corporate level ERP and database management
- Experience of various ad hoc reports
- Full understanding of sales and marketing operation
- Ability and willingness to work in high-pressure environment.
- Strong communication, writing, and presentation skills; assertive personality
- Eye for detail – quality and accuracy is of paramount importance in this role
- Overtime required based on situation and especially for forecast and closing period
- Strong Analytical skills
