Financial Analyst

Orlando, FL

Selected candidate will serve on, and interact with, a team of Cost Management analysts on Fixed Wing Fire Control (Sniper) program. Day-to-day cost management responsibilities will include establishing and monitoring of program budgets, tracking and reconciliation of costs, conduct cost analysis; risk and opportunity analysis; variance explanations and recommendations for corrective actions as required.


Will be responsible for helping coordinate quarterly CSR process and ensuring data within is accurate and complete and reconciles to EFS model.


Will be responsible for forecasting orders, sales, profit, and cash flow for assigned contracts. Duties will also include support to Long Range Plan formulation, E&Y inquiries, Tax questions, Progress Billing audits, Contract Closeout.


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in finance or related discipline.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.


Desired Skills:

  • Self-motivated with strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Expertise with MS Excel
  • Effective at presenting data to a group and using MS PowerPoint
  • Ability to organize cross-functional team members to meet team objectives
  • Attention to detail and accuracy when reporting and explaining financial data
  • Expertise using MS Excel functionality to quickly analyze data
  • Ability to quickly learn job specific tools/programs and processes

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.


Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.


These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.


Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
