In the role of Financial Analyst (In-person) working in our Albany Brewery in Albany, GA, you will be part of the Brewery Finance team. You will provide finance support delivering reporting for actual results, forecasting, budgeting and control policies, procedures and processes at the department level while supporting the entire brewery on strategic initiatives.
This position reports to the Brewery Finance Manager and works closely with brewery operational teams and Regional World Class Supply Chain Pillars.
The Responsibilities:
- Partners with business owners to understand underlying business processes to reduce waste and improve efficiencies in the brewery.
- Prepares, analyzes, and reviews periodic financial performance with department owners and supports month end close and forecast processes.
- Supports and facilitates annual financial budgeting process.
- Coordinates and participate in physical inventories.
- Support and participate in World Class Supply Chain activities to drive improvement and eliminate losses.
- Prepare business cases and ROI proposals for capital projects.
The Qualifications:
- You have 2-3 years of financial analyst work experience
- You have a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or Statistics, preferred
- You have analytical skills to process a large amount of information to find cost risk/opportunities
- You have strong Excel skills and experience with various financial and software systems.
- You love a challenge. You complete complex projects quickly, accurately and adeptly with your understanding of the business priorities.
- You have strong critical thinking skills and can navigate ambiguity.
- You are confident and competent. You are diplomatic, professional and exercise great judgment in developing and maintaining excellent relationships within the business.
- You are naturally curious and have a strong desire to develop analytical and predictive models to support business needs.
