Finance Assistant
The Funding Assistant organizes and processes financial information from sales representatives and manages a wide range of administrative and client support activities. They also oversee standard security procedures for handling sensitive financial information and maintain data privacy.
Essential Functions:
- Process a high volume of new client business transactions daily
- Establish and maintain communication with general managers, office managers, and sales representatives
- Establish and maintain communication with various lenders and underwriters
- Record and maintain reporting to track monthly sales
- Calculate and analyze job costing to determine if lender approvals are within financial guidelines
- Process and prepare financial forms
- Collect and enter data for various financial spreadsheets
- Reconcile any discrepancies or errors identified during project completion and funding review
- Suggest changes or improvements to increase accuracy, efficiency, and cost reductions
- Provides a full range of administrative support to Financing Department- copying, filing, and scanning
- Prepare reports and materials for Finance Manager
- Answer both internal project team and external client questions regarding financing status
- Maintain and organize client documents
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or combination of equivalent education and experience
- Minimum of 1 year experience in finance/loan servicing experience
- Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to analyze financial information and handle complex numerical calculations
- Solid communication skills, both written and verbal
- Understanding of data privacy standards
- Build strong relationships with clients with the motivation to make a difference in our clients' lives
- Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and meet deadlines
- Familiarity with business principles and practices, and outstanding problem-solving skills
