Finance Analyst

Currently, we are seeking qualified candidates for a Finance Analyst to join the Clyde, Ohio Manufacturing Operations This role is a great opportunity to be part of a manufacturing facility that works toward World Class Manufacturing. The Finance Analyst is responsible for tracking financial performance for manufacturing operations on a sustainable basis with primary focus on improved performance through financial metrics. This position reports directly to the Plant Controller and is an important member of the manufacturing team. The ideal candidate for this role will actively work with the finance team as well as operations leadership to drive improvement and support the broader manufacturing operations strategy.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Complete month end processes, monthly forecasts and yearly profit plans. Deliver robust financial reporting
  • Sustain and improve Internal Controls, ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies
  • Drive operational performance through robust financial analysis
  • Work cross-functionally to with the Manufacturing Team
  • Support lean activities and identify areas of focus
  • Serve as a liaison between engineering, procurement and manufacturing teams to ensure robust and accurate projections. Support new product development and introduction
  • Support continuous improvement in plant financial processes, standardization and compliance
  • Manage plant budgets and drive accountability and transparency
  • Provide direction and guidance to manufacturing leadership and corporate finance function 

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

 

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
  • SAP or similar ERP system
  • Manufacturing accounting
  • World Class Manufacturing (WCM) experience
  • Manage data to help drive clarity around results.
  • Understand the manufacturing operations.
  • Explain financial results to a non-financial audience.
  • Influence a wide range of individuals within and outside the manufacturing operations. Ability to work Cross-functionally to drive alignment that is in the best interest for the company.
  • Communications, analytical, planning, and teamwork skills
  • Presentation skills to report operating results to various leadership teams
