Executive Compensation Lead Analyst

Citibank, N.A. seeks an Executive Compensation Lead Analyst for its Tampa, Florida location.


Duties: Create, enhance, and develop employees’ performance and compensation analysis and calibration for Executive Management Team and Compensation, Performance Management and Culture Committee across Citi’s primary business sectors, including Institutional Clients Group, Personal Banking & Wealth Management, and Global Functions utilizing detailed knowledge of complex labor relations and compensation issues. Support the Human Resources needs of a global client group, including participating in day-to-day Human Resources department activities that include planning and administering the year-end performance and compensation cycle for regulated employees, managing external consultants, executing on internal audit requests, participating in regulatory compensation-related workstreams that include covered employee identification, and managing multiple projects with competing priorities across multiple teams – total rewards, employee relations, performance management, learning and development, with the ability to influence decisions. Review and design in-house initiatives aimed to maximize and manage the year-end performance and compensation cycle.


Engage in talent reviews and year-end compensation processes. Train employees and senior leaders on how to produce effective full-year performance evaluations and document sound compensation rationales to correctly link performance to pay decision.


Develop enhancements to HR compensation systems, coordinate and cross train team members, and maintain various human resources systems and technologies by updating changes and employee information including quantitative data such as performance pillar ratings and compensation adjustments as well as qualitative data such as performance commentary and compensation rationales.


Provide quality assurance that any new changes are within regulatory compensation’s line of sight and that any subsequent changes adhere to prescribed guidelines.


A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.


Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field and 2 years of progressively responsible, post-baccalaureate employment or academic experience as an HR Analyst, HR Management Associate, Project Manager, QA Analyst, or related position involving Human Resources and Data Analytics in a corporate environment.


2 years of experience must include: Big Data Analytics, VBA; Complex Data management, pivot tables and data cleaning techniques; Microsoft Office Suite; Project management; Talent and Performance management; Control and Compliance; and Statistical visualization. Wage Range: $132,500 to $155,880
