Executive Compensation Analyst

Spring, TX

ExxonMobil is seeking an Executive Compensation Analyst to join our dynamic team driving competitive advantage through our people! 

 

This individual contributor role works collaboratively and proactively to support designing, implementing, and managing executive compensation programs within our organization. You will assist with analyzing market trends, evaluating compensation structures, and ensuring alignment with company goals and industry standards. This position requires excellent analytical skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively.

What you will do

Work in an environment which demands strong deliverables along with the ability to identify problems, root causes and drive valuable solutions 

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including SEC regulations and corporate governance guidelines. Assist in the preparation, analysis, and data quality of proxy statements, disclosures, and regulatory filings related to executive compensation
  • Assist in development, analysis and data quality for Annual Shareholder Meeting debrief, follow-up materials, and Shareholder engagement materials
  • Assist in development, analysis and data quality for Board Compensation Committee and Management Committee reviews
  • Non-Employee Director Compensation analysis, review, and administration
  • Annual incentive compensation program validation, award analysis, and data quality check; Collaborate with other Human Resources and Legal teams to ensure alignment with organizational objectives and compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Communicate compensation policies, procedures, and changes to executives and key stakeholders. Provide guidance and education to executives on compensation-related matters, including incentive structures, benefits impact and equity awards
  • Interface with IT and other contract vendors to troubleshoot, escalate as needed, and timely resolve incentive compensation system problems; Assist managers and senior managers with system support and solutions
  • Design and execute change management plans, communications and enabling processes that support incentive system design and administration changes 
  • Write, maintain, and support a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate system report-writing tools. Design, create, and provide analysis of ad hoc reports as needed
  • Have a strong drive to create a positive work environment, leveraging a highly diverse workforce
  • Interface across all levels of the organization 
  • Operate with autonomy and discretion in a complex and rapidly changing work environment
  • Have excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills


About you

Skills and Qualifications 

  • Proven ability to deliver HR solutions based on analytical insights
  • Strong understanding of executive compensation regulations, principles, practices, and trends
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and draw meaningful insights
  • Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of products, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with senior managers, within and across functional teams
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and discretion in handling sensitive information
  • Adaptable and able to work independently, manage multiple high priorities, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Desire to learn and apply new skills and capabilities
  • You should have at least 3 years of experience as a Compensation Analyst

 

Preferred Experience

  • Previous human resources experience, preferably in Executive Compensation 
  • Experience consolidating and analyzing data for internal or external reporting
  • Previous customer service experience, preferably working with executives or senior level managers
