Event Marketing Manager

As an Event Marketing Manager within Enterprise Marketing’s Global Events & Experiences Team, you’ll have the opportunity to work with cross-functional teams across the org to lead event programming for key Industry and PayPal owned customer events. This is an exciting and unique opportunity to be a part of a newly created & growing team, offering the ability contribute to and execute upon an ever-growing list of new event formats and experiential moments.

Primary Job Responsibilities 

  • Work with the core Enterprise Marketing Team and across stakeholders in Sales, Sales Enablement, Product Marketing, Brand and Comms to develop and execute innovative, immersive, and impactful customer programs 
  • Contribute to a diverse range of projects across digital, virtual, and physical event environments  
  • Oversee the A-Z lifecycle of an event, informing creative strategy, coordinating with internal stakeholders and external agencies, executing programming efficiently and effectively, and conducting post event reviews & impact assessments   

 

Experience and Skills (the what) 

  • 10+ years of experience leading event marketing & experiential programs (preferably within the Enterprise and/or FinTech space) 
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, especially amongst key executives and stakeholders 
  • High-energy, resourceful and solution focused attitude  
  • Curiosity in an environment of constant learning  
  • Ability to multi-task in a deadline-driven atmosphere with multiple competing priorities 
  • Comfort working with cross-functional groups and executive leadership  
  • Demonstrated problem solving and critical thinking skills
